BOVET’s Virtuoso VII Retrograde Perpetual Calendar is a complication highly sought after by collectors. It perfectly symbolises the expertise that has driven the Maison’s workshops for almost two centuries.
The Virtuoso VII Retrograde Perpetual Calendar features the Amadéo convertible case system which allows the timepiece to be transformed from a reversible wristwatch to a table clock or a pocket watch without the use of any tools. That makes the Virtuoso VII Retrograde Perpetual Calendar a three-in-one piece worthy of any luxury watch connoisseur and a truly covetable piece for collectors.
In addition, the Bovet Virtuoso VII Retrograde Perpetual Calendar has two faces. One one side, the face shows the hours, minutes, seconds and power reserve, as well as all the indications relative to the perpetual calendar. The hours and minutes are displayed on a central dial, and the retrograde calendar display is positioned outside this dial, which enables the complexity of the perpetual calendar mechanism and the talent of the Maison’s engravers to be clearly admired.
The second face of the Virtuoso VII features an off-centred hours and minutes dial that gives prominence to the movement, beautifully decorated with circular Côtes de Genève. The seconds function is displayed on the same axis and on both sides of the movement, with an opposite direction of rotation on each face – a highly complex patented mechanism. Finally, there is a five-day power reserve indicator.
